Regardless of size or style of the mudroom, the innovative
addition of color offers practical and decorative enhancement to the space.

First decide how you envision that the mudroom will function. Consider the size and layout of the space, existing windows and lighting, walls and flooring (see Creating Space). If a dark, windowless mudroom is to be solely used for storage purposes, consider installing floor to ceiling built-in shelving and plenty of hooks for hanging items.
