This year's back-to-school colors are all about that energy!

Fresh pinks and happy yellows are strong selections within the back-to-school color palette for girls. Bright blues and bold reds lead the way for back-to-school colors for boys. A great way to incorporate any of these vibrant colors is to allow your child to introduce the hues within their bedroom or study space. There are an endless number of ways to bring this season's colorful energy into your home. Oversized wall letters spelling out the child's name, their favorite sport, or hobby are easy to construct and are also available, ready to purchase. Paint the letters using any of the stimulating hues that predominate today's back-to-school color palette, then hang in a conspicuous place on the wall where your child can enjoy the upbeat colors throughout the school year!

Another way to introduce this year's back-to-school palette is by implementing the color scheme within a functional organizational accessory. Modular boards can be constructed from cork and other fabrications, and trimmed with any paint color desired. Hang in a child's bedroom or study space, and use to help the student organize everything from homework to after school activities. Dress up the boards with interesting feathers, buttons and ribbons; using colors that accentuate the painted border around the board. Sometimes the smallest detail can truly enhance a space. To personalize the modular board even further, allow extra room for special photos, treasured artwork and other prized items around the perimeter of the board.
